Alicia Showalter Reynolds

The Richmond FBI Office is assisting the Virginia State Police in the abduction and murder of Alicia Showalter Reynolds. On March 2, 1996, Alicia’s car was found alongside Route 29 in Culpeper County, Virginia. She was traveling from her home in Baltimore to Charlottesville, Virginia, to meet her mother. Two months later, Alicia’s skeletal remains were found 15 miles away from where her car was located in Lignum, Virginia. During the investigation, it was determined that numerous other women were "flagged down" by a white male driving a dark pickup truck while driving along Route 29. The man would attempt to get the women to pull over by indicating they were having car trouble. This man has been described as: white male; age 35-45; 5"10-6'0"; medium build; light to medium brown hair; wearing flannel or striped shirt and blue jeans. This suspect may have access to a small dark pickup truck.
