When is the Citizens' Academy?

The Richmond Division began hosting Citizens’ Academies in the fall of 2003 and has held two Academies each year since. The spring session typically runs April to May; the fall session - September to October. The Academy runs for eight consecutive Tuesday evenings, from 6:00-9:00p.m. at our Parham Road location. A Saturday session is comprised of a “Top Gun Challenge” at the firearms range and once a year, Academy participants are taken to our training facility at Quantico, Virginia, for a tour.
