FBI National Digital Billboard Initiative
A national partnership between the FBI, Adams Outdoor, Clear
Channel Outdoor, Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia, and Lamar Advertising where
digital billboards
from these four companies may be used for law enforcement
purposes to display fugitive information.
Through this initiative, the FBI has access to
over 1000
digital billboards nationally, and dangerous fugitives are
being apprehended.
This successful program was developed through a positive
experience a representative with one of these companies had
while attending a Citizens’ Academy, and their desire to
support law enforcements efforts. |
